Java Developer

Role: Java Developer This role is based in NY, and the team requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days a week with no exceptions. A F2F interview is required at the final stage of interviews. 2 positions. Key Responsibilities & Tasks: • This role entails hands-on coding responsibilities in Java and related frameworks. • Develop, test, and maintain multiple Securities Finance foundation and functional products. • Working closely with technology leads to the implementation of functional components for the project that contribute to the Sec Fin product suite. • Work closely with the business stakeholders for Arranged Financing product rollouts and partake in user support. • Contribute to the DevOps stream as a part of the product buildout and adhere to the CI/CD protocols. • Maintain and enhance support documentation. Qualifications/ Experience: • 10+ years of coding experience in core Java, Spring framework, and messaging framework • Experience building distributed and enterprise applications. • Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge, experience with Redis, Kafka, and Snowflake is a plus. • Jira, Bit Bucket & Bamboo, CI/CD & DevOps, GitHub Copilot understanding is a plus. • AWS working experience is desired. • Understanding of Securities Finance/Prime Brokerage, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area.
