Location: Austin Texas

Client : State Texas

Position is ONSITE at the location listed above (NO REMOTE WORK). Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.

This role will be the administrator of a Tableau Online SaaS instance, supporting a diverse set of users. Skill Set required includes Tableau administration and development. Setting up and maintaining user permissions to ensure data security both externally and between user groups is essential.

Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within the existing system.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience in Tableau Administration, developing reports or dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI.

Expertise in data management and database concepts

Experience with data manipulation and cleaning techniques

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to Tableau server and Tableau Cloud/Enterprise offerings

Proficiency in user administration and permissions management.

Hands on as a Tableau Server or Tableau Online administrator

Developing dashboards and reports in Tableau.

Power BI administration is preferred.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business users
